The event consisted of 3 different heats:
-The race
-The big air
-The freestyle
The race was pretty interesting, and was probably my favorite thing to watch. Each racer was ready to go on there 50cc atv at the starting gate, and once the gun went off, so did they. There was various jumps throughout the course which they were able to air out on, which was cool.
The big air was kind of awesome as well. It consisted of one big starting ramp and one big jump. Each performer got 2 tries to get as big as they could off this jump, and do the craziest trick they could. I saw one guy do a double back flip on one of these things!
The last event was the freestyle event. It was a series of jumps which you could choose to jump off of. The person with the best series of tricks, the most air, or the most interested combined effort, scored the highest. The highest score wins!
I though this 50cc atv event was pretty cool and I would most definitely go to something like this again.
